ALEXANDRA RUGGIERI is a narrative and documentary storyteller based in New York City. She will be graduating with a B.F.A in Film and Television from NYU Tisch School of the Arts Kanbar Institute of Film and Television with a minor in Cinema Studies in 2017. Prior to her education at NYU, she studied Film and Television Editing at Video Symphony in Burbank, CA. She has worked as an editor on various commercial projects and short films. Her short film, One Below, screened at the 2015 Sight and Sound showcase and the Bobst Film Festival. Ruggieri also has interest in interior design and set design. She has channeled this interest as a production designer for several short films. Although film is her primary mode of storytelling, Ruggieri also enjoys photography, painting, and ballet. Her latest artistic endeavor is stick and poke tattoos.
